Practitioners’ Workshop
Presented by the National Center for Bicycling &
Walking and the SRTS National Partnership

Location: The Madison Concourse Hotel
and Governor’s Club, 1 West Dayton Street in Madison
(about 6 blocks from the Monona Terrace Conference Center)

This workshop will be of interest to: Affiliates
of the SRTS National Partnership, SRTS State Coordinators,
State Bike/Ped Coordinators; Public Health Advocates;
and SRTS practitioners including state, regional and local
program organizers. It will be assumed that workshop participants
will have a general knowledge of SRTS.
The workshop will include case studies
from across the U.S. We’ll use large and small discussion
groups to explore the latest innovations in the implementation
of local SRTS planning and initiatives. The interactive
format will allow for an examination of programs that
are working and gaining momentum and of the issues that
can weigh a program down.
The workshop will also include presentations
from the Federal Highway Administration’s SRTS Program;
and the SRTS Clearinghouse. Representatives from each
will talk about resources that are or will soon be made
available to foster implementation of local SRTS programs.

National Partnership Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting will be a business meeting
and is open to all affiliates of the SRTS National Partnership
and anyone thinking of becoming a partner affiliate.
The Meeting Agenda will include discussion
and adoption of the following:
