Designing a poster need not be a drudgery,
and you certainly don't have to re-invent the wheel. Below,
the conference staff has assembled a "Poster Toolkit"
containing a number of resources you might want to look
at before designing your poster.
Each poster presenter will be provided
with a backboard (4 feet x 8 feet) that is covered with
cork material that will support push pins or thumbtacks,
and a table fronting the backboard. Electricity will be
available at each poster station if you would like to
incorporate a laptop with a slide show of images or a
brief movie that shows your project. (No boom boxes or
loud music & narration, please).
As a poster presenter, you will be asked
to "host" your poster during two 45-minute periods
when there will be no other concurrent sessions running
at the conference. You have been assigned to either Poster
Block A or Poster Block B.
